Life Coaching

Life coaching is a range of no nonsense, down to earth, practical tools, techniques and strategies that are used to establish what you want to change in your life, whether that change is physical or a change in your perspective.It is the art of facilitating the performance, learning and development of another.

The coach is a professionally trained person who helps to unlock the potential within you, so that you can achieve positive changes to your personal or professional life.

Life coaching helps you to explore the changes you want to make in the next 3 months, 6 months or 1 year.

Like so many people there have been many times in my life where I felt stuck and unable to break through the walls, barriers, obstacles that seemed to be forever blocking the way forward.

I got demoralised, my morale, motivation and confidence were continually being eroded.

SOMETHING HAD TO CHANGE!

Going through the life change processes that I now use with other people has helped me to change from the person who could not break through the challenges and barriers that life was erecting, to a person now on the other side of that wall and more able to move forward past the next challenge that life will inevitably put in my way.

The way I work

All clients enjoy a free initial consultation, so you have nothing to lose by contacting me to see if coaching is for you, or indeed that you feel I am the right person to help you with the changes you wish to make. There is no obligation at this point and it is an ideal opportunity to get to know each other a little and see if we can work together to achieve your goals.

Participation in a coaching programme with me will involve you in scheduled weekly or fortnightly meetings ranging between 4 to12 sessions on average, depending on the help you feel you need or what you want to achieve.

We will start with where you are now and go on to examine what you’d like to do differently and better.

Your sessions are exactly that – YOURS – and will be tailored specifically for you.

As a coach I am here to listen, support you, question and challenge you.  I am not here to tell you what to do.

We work as partners to help you to become more self aware, confident, and resourceful and achieve those goals.

The initial sessions

This begins with a preview of your current situation.

You will be asked questions to help us both to define where you are in life, what needs to change and what you want to get out of the coaching experience.

These questions will open up your mind and get you thinking about yourself in a way that is probably new to you.

We will take some time to establish which areas of your life could benefit from changes.

We will review where you are now in relation to your goals and we will tackle any obstacles that may be blocking your way.

Then we will work together to set realistic and achievable goals and drive you forward to achieve a more balanced and fulfilled and enjoyable life.
